 Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Lord, please help me with my to-do list.   Show me what you have put on there, and what I have presumptuously assigned to myself.  Help Sam with his daunting list!  Let him have the insight and the words.  Open His mouth with Your Spirit's prompting.  I trust You, Lord, to do your business and will focus on my own.  Please aid my kids as they serve their families, students, and workplace. 

 I hope you are resting this week or revamping your life. Cleaning closets or reading books, or talking with friends. Whatever recharges your emotional batteries— praying to God you would have some of that!  If you need to sail away or lay on a beach… read books, drink coffee, sleep for 16 hours. May the Lord give you that. 

 Lord,  Today, I ask you to help friends in a housing crisis. They are unexpectedly displaced. Unemployed as well as unhorsed. There are kids, too.  For other folks, too, who are struggling to make ends meet, please show them you are able.  I’m remembering verses about lilies of the field. You no doubt saw this coming and have a plan. Show us where we should jump in and help.
