Going to School
Lord, please help students as they get ready to begin school. For some, this is an exciting beginning. Others dread the pressure, or the new school, lack of clothes. Some can't wait because school is their safe and happy place. Please inspire all the educational staff as they prep to educate minds and meet needs. Let your Spirit flow through Christ-following teachers. Let students who know You show kindness and love toward strangers and opponents as well as friends. We trust You with our kids, the very best humanity has to offer, and ask You to redeem them. Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when he said to me, “Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children.” Deut. 4:10
